Birch balusters

I've exhaust my means to find birch squares. Does anyone know where I can purchase 5/4 or 6/4 birch balusters?

check with Boulter plywood in Somerville (MA) they selling turning stock in 2x2 and 3x3 in cherry and maple and may have red birch as well or can rip some on their TS for you from 8/4 stock

I will ask one of the job shops in town, I sometimes see those guys at coffee in the am. I assume what is desired is birch 5/4 squares, Pick a length.

Thanks. The lengths can either be in 3-4' or 1' pieces.
