Bluefish Everywhere!

So I was out around West Island tossing plugs under some birds and noticed many of them flying to the southwest. I followed a few to the middle of the bay where acres of birds were working. Tons of bluefish. I was having fun just watching 10 at a time going for the plug. Good fun. I've been catching a few with bass lately but it looks like they're here to stay.

Live it

nice, I love Blues....they're a blast!

Red's Best Boston I would think?

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

Mass is always much higher in the price for blues & with this many around . the price must suck early ..
The last few years in RI in was [OK} until the fall .... except one place that only takes just so many [they smoke them ] they really want the 3 -5 pounders ;;;

Might as well go Scup fishing .. with the huge quota the RI price won,t even hit .40 p/p ..

Someone make me a serious offer on my rig & multi-purpose license / I have more than enough landing to sell it / pay back my slip fee & I,m gone ><><>

ENJOY WHAT YOU HAVE !!!

Clammer, this pic is for you...

Boofish in the ccc this a.m. The only frieking fish in the canal this a.m.

The second pic is of the two guys who parked themselves just to my left on an incoming tide. First guy was fine, but the second guy, (I don't think you can see him in the pic) gets in between us, uptide of his buddy so as not to hurt his casting area. There was nobody between me and the Herring Run. One mile in which these two guys could have fished. No, they had to bust my chops. I made the guy in the middle experience a little less enjoyable during my retrieves. And why is it the guy who perches next to me can only cast 50'.

Same exact story for me yesterday swimmer, just a boo fish to narrowly avoid the skunk, even dispite the sensational fb report from the day before from one of the local tackle shops. shoulda known better

something clever and related to fishing

Reminds me of the moratorium. All we caught for 3 or 4 years was bluefish. Personally, I'm with Clammer. I hate the Bas**^&tds.
Just ruin equipment. Their stupid, vicious and lousy to eat unless you smoke 'um. JMO

No boat, back in the suds.

I caught my first bluefish of the year almost 2 weeks ago in soco. that was depression to see them that early. I had 2 weeks of Ok bass fishing. Finally got into a few Stripers in the bay tonight. So far this is the worst spring i ever had.

you are a sick man.... nothing ruins bassing faster than yellow eyed devils with teeth....water up here is still 48 degrees.. that ought to keep them down south for awhile..

A good run is better than a bad stand!
