New Duck Blind

Spent the better part of this after noon constructing a duck blind with my son. Loaded up the boat with some pallets, some misc. wood scraps, a cordless and some screws, a bag of zip ties and a pair of brush cutters. Went over to a place we normally hunt and set up a permanent blind to hunt out of. Great after noon! I love doing these kinds of things with him. Although we didn't shoot anything...or even see anything...it was fun.

I will let the bot know...we will have to put some brush over the sign.

When we were talking about doing this I asked him....Do you know how to make a duck blind....no Dad, I don't....I said you poke him in the eye...LOL

in my day.........
when Tobacco was synonymous with Hunting/fishing
from the old Field and Stream perspective....
sitting around the old fire stove in the cabin
or around the campfire telling tales....
the smell of cherry tobacco still brings back memories.
