Pulaski Steelhead trip open slot

Anyone interested in this Sat-Tuesday? Leave Dec 7 return Dec 10.
Just had a cancellation in my party of four. Rooms are booked. Would require you bring a vehicle. Preferrably something that can handle snow. Leaving from southern Rhode island or you can meet us there. Contact me asap before I have to cancel one of the rooms.

Good info Dennis. I went up this weekend last year. Can't do this year, will do a last minute some weekend. Good luck. Great fish...used to live 35 miles south, was awesome way to spend the winter!

Was considering going up this weekend till I disabled a finger on my casting hand. Have fun and write up a little report when you get back!

I just got back from Syracuse. There's snow on the ground here and there but not much.

No boat, back in the suds.

Syracuse is not Tug Hill, kinda like the difference between bay and ocean. Snow is not too bad, it is the shelf ice that is a problem.

Yeah. I had 3-4' of snow one year in Pulaski overnight and 15 minutes south there was a dusting. Weather can be wild. Slush shouldn't be an issue till a little later, id hope!

Sounds really exciting but certainly couldn't do it with my current schedule. Any chance you could share what this type of trip would be like? These are essentially huge rainbow trout correct? tell us what the ultimate trip would consist of (besides a record steelhead of course).

Enjoy the trip and hope it turns out to be everything you all hoped it would be. :-)

I have some friends going up the following weekend. The driftboat guide they have hired said that they are having a good year so far.

Good luck!
