Going to head out for my last few outings... I am expecting a skunk, but I just want to go through the motions and fish one more time before a long winter. And i still believe that fish are still around in certain places.

Getting a tree today. Meeting with our realtor at noon. Looks like the Rickman is going to be getting back into the home ownership game for the first time in 15 years.

Probably looking at properties for the rest of the weekend.

I also just finished sorting out all of the ice fishing gear, as well.

My shed blew apart during the big blow Tuesday/Wednesday night. Its one of them Rubbermaid sheda about 6 feet tall and 4 feet wide and has survived several hurricanes , Katrina , Sandy , etc but I guess a big gust got it and all the panels blew apart. got to put it back together. Also one of my big trash barrels is no where to be seen so I need to hunt that down.

I think I've mentioned that I live on the peak between two valleys and it gets windy here.

Then Sunday we do it all over again at my girlfriend's parents' lake house...except there will be even more people, food, debauchery, etc...

Resting back so I will be ready for work on Monday... but did go for my first visit to Ikea today. Wow. A lot of storage solutions there.. reasonably priced. They have their program all tricked out the way you have to wind through the entire store. I was impressed. Also went to AT&T store to work out our next phones, as we have been out of contract for over two years... I had been the target of ridicule over Thanksgiving for still having a Rugby flip phone "brick". I will soon be struggling with an I phone 5c, which no doubt is going to be smarter than me. And we'll be paying 25 bucks LESS per month.

(When did this happen? Even though the wireless companies discount the phones, some to the point of being free, that the Commonwealth demands us to pay tax on the retail price, when we aren't paying retail????)

Ross, at some point last year I broke my back (L1&L2) they were fractured
And had the added bonus of L5 & S1 Serious herniated disc's to the point it restricked my nerve canal of the toes in my right foot.
My right foot is still numb...I wish my brain would be the same.

With that said, self medication no surgery ( I don't believe in),jack Daniels helped me.
To the guy I am today,of not missing a day of work and it didn't interfear with fishing....
Still stronger than ever.

My Neuro surgeon told me to quite my job....
I have no choice. I can't,and I won't!

He also told me,that I am one percent of what I do with what I have with back problems.

Old school and Strong mind goes along way,in my book!
God help the weak,because I won't ,I'll end it!
