So ths first task was digging a path to the bird feeder. Feeder had to be emptied, because the sideways snow blew about four inches of snow into the feed holes. Put bot tray on the corner of the deck with seed on it. 5:30 a.m. and they were after food.

I dont ever remember a winter where the cardinals feathers turned so dark.
