Where to go clamming on the Cape??

What are some good towns on the Cape for quohog clamming for a non resident. Looking for easy access to the clams without needing a boat. I have clammed in Duxbury , but access to the bridge requires a $200 parking permit. Also is is a lot of work to dig there.

Went Sunday bass river yarmouth ,,, had to work at it to get the 10 qt., been raked pretty good.
If they open mill creek at seagul beach soon might be worth the price

A non-resident license fee is usually five times the cost of a resident license. Be prepared for that.

It depends how far you want to go. I have a place in Harwich, but only sometimes get a permit there and have always purchased one in Chatham, 80 bucks family non resident. There is quite a few good spots, and they do a good job with keeping up the population by suplementing with seed clams in the areas that get hit hard by the recreational clammer.

You might not want to come to Bourne. Our non-resident permit is $175!!
