went fishin/got stuck

got stuck on top of a tree..... DOH!

not my first RODEO ...having that happen
but it's just as frustrating... let me tell ya.

as the boat is getting damaged trying to get
the S.O>B> off of it....

Had the wife with me so i made her get way up on the Bow
and i sat in her seat and used the oar to spin in circles
until finally -got her loose again ... now water is flooding in

so heading for shore: the wind changes direction (of course)
INSTEAD OF BLOWING TOWARDS THE RAMP
it's now keep us from getting back in.... GRRRRRR

back to boat repairs broke the ice tho, caught 2 BASS

funny you mentioned that as the forest of tree's had all but disappeared
except in the back lot ...it used to be kinda cool as there was Osprey
nests up in the top of the trees....

i got off easy (no pun intended) but i truly thought i was going to have to jump over the side and push the boat off...
i took the risk and got schooled AGAIN

what used to be deep depths and acres of dead trees
is now mostly weeds for cover
and they are the long stringy type that wraps up around your trolling motor
forcing you to have to cut it away periodically.

top of my trolling motor was very hot
negative battery terminal was hot
enough to burn ya... found that out the hard way
