Stacking 3 cords of wood and going to my neighbors surprise b-day party. All that is contingent on me not going fishing, not sure how this weekend will pan out.

Everything is better on the rocks.

Looks to be a stellar weekend, warm, light breezes and little chop; assuming the NOAA forecast is actually going to be accurate. Fishing with Goose Saturday and based on the forecast, I hope to talk the girlfriend into a day of tog fishing on Sunday, either way with that forecast I'm on the water both days.

Not much for me. Try to get back to the gym. This would be a major accomplishment for me.

I tried clear coating the rear quarter of my truck to cover up some damage. Came out kind of wavy. Might try to buff it out right, as well.

Have fun everybody.

Plans???? Commando!?!?!?! I would say "this I gotta see" but I really do not want to see given our last discussion of what "commando" really means. Good luck Chris, and beware of the Russians.

Watching the moon set, and thinking I should be wading the end of the big river, but doing the homebody thing since I worked Fall River all week.

Fixing the better half's car .....again....probably time to dump and run on that.

If all goes well, getting on a boat Sunday night to hit on some bones and alberts Monday A.M. If all goes really well, stay on island and email the boss my notice. Then look for gainful employment after Christmas. A guy has to dream.

Working at the course trying to make hay while the weather is still good, getting on some funny fish hopefully by using paul as my bloodhound out there . So many peanuts out there this morning but nada on them. And trying to get a handle on my courses this semester, which has been tough with albies on my mind! Watch a little ryder cup action and drink some beahhhhs

something clever and related to fishing

Went out last night with my girl. Feeling it today

Sitting around a fire tonight with some good people then on the water by 530 tomorrow morning in a friend's boat chasing bass and albies. Couldn't be nicer weather. Can't wait to get out there!

I made it an hour at the gym today. First time back in 60 days.

Gonna hit it again tomorrow. I've got a chance to not start this whole rebuilding thing without needing to lose weight at the same time. This is the first time in like 25 years that I can say that.

Broken ribs, punctured lung, and abcessed hemotoma made me a skinny ass bastard.

I did Jay. Tons of bait up in my neck of the Bay this morning. Scratched up a 42" bass on a live pogy. Probably 25-27#. Using circle hooks so she swam away. Hopefully she doesn't get killed out at the Block.

No boat, back in the suds.

Wife and I ran out first 5k obstacle race today, it was a blast, 85 degrees out in south wick! I'll take that for the end of September.

Corker of a weekend, weatherwise!
Water was as still as I've ever seen this morning. Still 62-64 degrees. Cod inshore was good both days. Bass, not so much. Better yesterday... Lot of bait, but macks were hit or miss by location. Saw my first footballs of the year jumping a couple miles out! Two full days on the boat. Cod in the freezer for winter stews. Did nothing around the house or work related, except get a deposit for a job.

Now into the office to do paperwork/estimates.......
