30 people at my house tomorrow for thanksgiving. We'll see how it goes.
The spinal fracture is starting to feel a little better, so hopefully I don't do anything dumb in the next 24 hours. And in case anybody is worried, no, I didn't have another catastrophe. They just never figured out that I also broke my F&^Hng back along with 6 ribs.
On a lighter note, I went to the knee doc who said "no act of God or man can fix your problem. You have the same condition that made Bobby Orr leave hockey."
He then took a look at my shoulder and figured out why I was in the hospital for 6 days in September, too. Crazy. He said they should have sent me to him, he would have drained it, and sent me home with some antibiotics. Gonna need to have my right ac joint worked on in March or so, but that should be the end of my issues. It's nice to know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
Sunday clean up, find a fireplace screen, and get ready for the propane installation next week.
Jack wants a fireplace with real fire for Xmas. Not a cheap gift.
Other than that, lots of exercise and cooking.
Anybody that's in the Waltham area and wants to stop by for some kick ass smoked turkey, let me know and I'll PM you my address.

Make a few casts if it's not TOO COLD.
Maybe a trip up to my daughter's home in Suderland, MA.

Fishing the old stomping grounds down in South Jersey (nice but chilly).
Right now, drinking an Ommegang double (very nice) before standing out in the chilly-chill to watch my nephew in his states football playoff game at 7 (nice but chilly, again).
Waiting to hear where I am working on Monday morning (don't ask).
Pat Metheny Unity Group on Sunday night in Worcester (priceless).

Chillin at home with the fam tonight, after a killer week of work. Enjoying my toasty house after having a new furnace, and blown in insulation done this week!
Last soccer games for the kiddos in am, then heading to Mohegan Sun with bro inlaws, for my nephews bachelor party.
Sun. break down and store salt and freshwater gear till next year... then hibernate.

Went to a turkey raffle last night, was a decent time. The boy won a turkey and some gift certs. Hunted today from sun up to sun down. Saw a few does and let them walk waiting for the buck. Walked out of the woods a bit further down the road from where I went in and there we=as the buck....dead on the side of the road. He was mangled with his antlers busted off. Well, lets hope his brother is still alive. Working Sunday and then vacation for the week.
