Its funny, I didn't ask for anything fishing this year, but did find myself buy fishing stuff for my kids. (4 and 6) Going with them is just a lot more common it seems than going myself, and it is certainly fun. Coming home at 9 am after a morning myself with the kids running out sayinf dad what did you catch, has changed to coming home with breakfast and coffee for mom and the kids saying Mom you won't believe what we caught...so this year they both got rod and reel combos and new shiner bucket, seriously, for ice fishing.

I asked for nothing fishing related. Have more than I use regardless. I will pick up another reel this year. But would rather get a US strat.

Love for someone to buy my Ledge Runner Bait business for Xmass, so the baits live on, when my supply is gone it will be time to sell the boat and golf full time.

John still has the old webpage up google Ledge Runner Baits and click the link all the pics up still. Make me an offer, I'll help you with that Xmass present for yourself.

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Fish in the sea so there is something to catch in 2015!

My wish:
I want to have no health issues so I can fish for as long as I can breath. (and I want the same for you as well.) In the end this seems to stop us all, I see it more and more...good fisherman sidelined because of some kind of pesky health matter. (when your back goes you will know what I mean)

My needs:
a fifty-some-odd foot long range cockpit trawler set up in expedition fashion for fishing my way back and forth between the Caribbean and NE with the seasons.
(I don't care about speed anymore...I want long range comfort that I can stay on for months at a time.)

Within 10 years my plan is to buy a. 40-50 foot sailboat that I might live on. I'd rig it for offshore fishing. Sounds crazy, and I've never heard of anyone going long distances in a sailboat just to fish, but it sounds fun and I'd save a mint on diesel.

too bad you can't build an on board kiln to power a boiler
to run a steam engine so you can make glass bottles with notes
in them to throw over board...
you have ten years to build it
