Plymouth boat ramp

Anyone know what the plan is for the plymouth ramp and what the schedule is? Doesn't look like it will be back together any time soon.

Delayed from a June opening as contractor encountered unplanned circumstances.

That's complete crap. The coffer dam they built has gaps all over it and they've tried to use canned foam to seal it in places. They claim the rain run off from the parking lot is flooding it, delaying concrete pouring? Just a guess but I'm betting if you stick your tongue in the water it might taste a bit salty... Typical low bidder quality state run crap.

I haven't launched in GH yet but have at Sandwich and crowds have been nonexistent on the days I was there. But in a few more weeks, not having Plymouth as an option is going to cause some problems I would guess.

Who cares, even when I had a boat, I'd rather go to the dentist, than deal with the weekend yahoos at that ramp. Too many idiots, pleasure boaters with no clue how to launch a boat and if it's a hot one; it's an hour sometimes to pull out early pm. I live in Plymouth, but don't fish out of that ramp ever, it's just not worth the trouble.
