Another death at hazzard

No idea who or if an angler but someone was found dead, in water, off the rocks

You are right it never ends. Many of us have had close calls in the stretch of the shoreline, even with the right gear. Can anyone see them closing the area off because it is too dangerous? I know the homeowners in the area would be all for it.

Everything is better on the rocks.

I just don't know what people are thinking. I saw folks in numerous places yesterday evening with their backs to the water, just hanging out. Not fishermen, just clueless people. I can't tell you how many times I've been shrugged off when I've told people, "don't step on the black rocks."

It was weird, I had a bad feeling when I was out last night and decided to call it an early night. Didn't even hear about this 'til today. The surf was big even at low water. Glad I made that decision now.

R.I.P. to the departed and prayers to the family.

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

from the sounds of it, the guy didn't know what hit him so to speak. rest in peace.

2 dangerous factors there. Slippery rocks and sneaky surf.

Never thought is say this as fishing access is becoming so limited, but maybe they should think about limiting access at Hazards. maybe fishing permit only or something. Maybe it would save a couple lives each summer.

People see a sign that says danger and they just casually look at it. Maybe something that says this area has seen x amount of deaths since 2000 and it will make people pay attention. Make it in english, spanish, chinese, vietnamese etc...

Everything is better on the rocks.

Danger signs are like speed limit signs... they get ignored by most, and the ones that pay attention didnt need the sign in the first place.

The unfortunate reality is, nothing will stop it. The area will swallow up a few people a year... just like beavertail light house will the very next large storm we have.
