I'll try and get this back on track, LOL Then again maybe it is, Clams the Man

When I started out on my own framing houses the first house I framed was bought by a young family , a brick mason from off cape who was just starting out on his own...
We became friends and fishing buddies. He was a striper nut like no other, seemed like he'd been there, done that with all manner of pursuit... As if I wasn't hooked enough myself,
We fished together (with his son now and then) for the next 15 to 20 yrs.. With a vengeance! Beach, tins and an 18 CC places we never should have gone chasing fish.

Well life has a way of changing things and for the last 15 to 20 it was occasional golf day and family get togethers....

The Stars finally lined up and we where fishing together again the other day... It was like that second 15 to 20 never happen,,, it's the middle of the night, hell bent headed for a ramp with a boat in tow.... Nothing better!

I spent a week getting ready for this, rods, plugs, leaders, trailer and boat stuff, awake all night praying I'd get my buddy, mentor, into fish, big fish...
Here is a copy paste from the next day....

"Ray, Thank you for a great day on the water. Of all the years I have been fishing I have never seen big fish stay on the top that long. Never have I got that many fish that size on the top in one day. "

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

John, I think you still don't want the site classified as porn so I parked this here for editing if you wish

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Ugh, I should have gone back around the corner that day. I ran about 10 miles all over PHB and saw so many big macs, but no stripers. Glad you guys got into those fish!

We had a chance to get out on the water with Bernie (Fishraptor) a few weeks ago. Thanks to him for an excellent day on the water catching black sea bass, scup and a few sea robins. Bernie is yet another friend met through S-B, we had a ton of laughs and some excellent fishing.

Does your incessant whining make you feel better? How about you just shut the hell up and suck it up? It's a fishing forum , so please just stop.

I had my inlaws in town on satuday. My nephew said he wanted to catch a fish, (as long as he didnt have to touch worms!). We were with his parents and younger brother so i figured we would check out the air show and catch some fish at the same time. Never realized how non kid freindly my boat is. knives, pliars, trebles all in arms reach! Anyway i tied up some rigs achored over some structure far enough from the crowds. Almost immediately we had a steady pick of scup, seabass, and even a fluke came aboard. although he would touch the fish he was pretty pumped. About an hour in he says "I dont know how, but im really good at fishing!" lol

Caught a ton of nice bass just under the legal limit this morning, they were rising like trout everywhere, brought this one home for the grille. I finished up on some tog on a ledge farther out with some white water washing over it, fun to finesse them with plastic. Tog will smack a small split tail in the wash, I think to them its a quick meal if they act quickly, but you have to get it in tight and with a light head to keep it natural. Had to weed through a half dozen around 15", but finally got a nice fat 18" tog for dinner.

Just a bit different when it's time to go in without 140 horses to drive you home, but I won't need a gym membership with this workout. I might have to whore a ride with Clammer, but I'm afraid.

After dinner for my Son Michael's 25'th birthday party, we all ran down to the res with our cane poles. Still having a blast catching 3" sunfish like they were big fat blues.

He looks mad only because after 2 hours casting at a Nantucket pond and getting NOTHING his MOTHER cast once and caught this!

Some groundfishing

Some early bass on Mackerel

You take nice pics, Mike. I'm trying to train my dad, but he gets all "Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer" when I hand him my phone.

I'm surprised he hasn't said something like "This strange magical floating vessel scares and intimidates me...now give me more Scotch, dammit!"

He was a great photographer back when were kids.

Nice pics to everyone else!
