Weekend Plans

What's up for the weekend?

Was supposed to go to Wildwood NJ this weekend with the Scouts for Beach Jam but the kid is in no shape for camping. Ohh well.

Hopefully going to the range instead if I can put away this project .

So what's up for the weekend?

Start of ( fishing only) vacation...down side of moon mid September.. it doesn't get any better than this.

Kids want to fish for snapper blues on Sunday, going to try to find them on the CT shore.

Same as above. Sitting with my son waiting for some albies in a few locations. High rate of success the past two seasons.

0500 flight to Roanoke with a change in Philadelphia. Meet BIL at gate to grab the keys and begin driving back. '04 Monte Carlo SS Supercharged. He redid most of it and is a certified GM mechanic So no fishing tomorrow. See how I feel after that 11-12 hour drive....

Good timing to be picking up an extra car as the Tahoe brake lines blew this morning.

You need to be where you fillet those fish for that charity. I got a bakers dozen by 8:30 this morning and the crowds flowed in. Got that out of my system. Back to bass.

I was on Plum Island all weekend with a lot of 12 inch fish, fish were so small that the rod tip never moved in the sand spike, I would reel in to check my bait and there would be a fish on there, I usually stop fishing after about 6 because I feel it's more harm than good catching them a little weed at low tide, the last 3 weekends there have been not the best with lots of 12 to 16 inch fish and one 32 inch

Postdated - Headed to the NH for the weekend and enjoyed the events at the 41st Annual Highland Games in Lincoln at the foot of Loon Mt. Athletic contests, dance and music competition, decent food and beer, and Celtic music throughout the day at several venues.
