How are you enjoying the "King Tides"?

Amazing to see flooding that has nothing to do with storm surges or tsunami's.

I am a legend in my own mind!

Been crazy - coupled with a big unpredictable swell that has seemed to come from out of nowhere its made my casting sessions very cautious. Even four days after the full moon the water is way up.

Fishing has been poor for me.
Very high water coupled with strong SW wind has turned everything to mud/weed soup.

Hurricane Nicole passed over bermuda a few days ago, thus the long fetch swells. Odd but despite the big water here on the north shore, the weed has been minimal and the fishing has improved. Mostly rats with a few 30" fish in the mix. Hoping for a push of jumbo bass before it fizzles out...

Got out in the harbor on the boat from 5-6pm. So tide was heading lower, but a lot of weed and crap getting washed out from Forrest River. Got a bunch of 12" or less fish. Beats not fishing but I need to get outside soon.

The current coming out of the Estuaries here on the Cape is fierce combine that with some rollers and it gets dangerous. Almost all small bass but I got a fat 32 inch fish that ran with the current. My eight weight and I got a good work out.

Still tons of bait here in the Hole, and still picking off schoolies and blues to 3 lbs, and saw some busting albies a few days ago.
