shimano parts
I have a stradic 6000 fi and some how I broke the yoke at the bail , I tried red top but they said trying to get parts from shimano is so difficult that they don't even try any more , anyone got any thoughts ? the reel is only a couple of years old and I hate to toss it , it was not cheap . thanks

I would try ebay, or just call shimano.

Was going to say you could probably order right from shimano no problem. Can't find the link but they have a parts website.

no complaints with shimano America , I called mon. afternoon they said the part would arrive in 5 day it came in 4 , the repairs on the other hand were a bugger if the guts to the bail were any smaller I would have needed a microscope  |

Bucko's is closed! Out of business from what I hear, tried to sell (To Red Top i believe) but no interest. Last time I went in there it was bare bones and Sam, the kid who worked there said he was trying to sell it. Now its shut down completely. |

Well that is one reel repair shop that deserves to close, I stopped using them well over a decade or two ago, they could send your reel back in worse condition then you gave it to them. |

They were a good shop back in the day , on second street. But I went in there and they charged me 18$ for a bearing for a abu 6500. Never again

Yeah, they got wicked expensive near the end. I needed the cover nut Left side of reel, for a 7000C3. Charged me like $16.00 for it. |
