Fluid Film for non-skid
Since (as Clammer is always more than willing to point out) I cannot catch anything that swims... All I can add to this forum is some maintenance advice.
Guys over on THT love Woody'd wax on their non-skid. I've read that Fluid Film is the same stuff (Lanolin). I was at Lowe's and picked up a can for $9. You LIGHTLY spray it on a WET deck, spread it around and hose it off.
1. It goes on REALLY quick.
2. It's slippery when you apply it.
3. When rinsed there is absolutely NO slippery residue.
4. It works quite well. Boat got all kinds of muddy last night after squidding. (CAUGHT ZERO... NOTHING... NADA... ZILCH). cleaned very easily with only the hose.
As an aside. I don't chase reports, I fish when I can. I have NEVER, not ONCE, EVER done well for any species when reports claim excellent fishing. I do not doubt reports, i do however believe i do, in fact have the worst luck possible. Multiple sources claim NPT is loaded with squid.... gone twice... TWO squid. I suck.

Sounds like me! The boat is in the water, but it'll still be a few weeks of cleaning and polishing before I actually go fishing.

Got some ink on the boat after the FF application from squid. Not a lot (again, cause i can't catch squat...) but it hosed right off when I got back to the dock.
