Thumbs down gags

How does a 15" bass pull the front hardware out of a brandy new mambo? Must run out of epoxy and resorted to salvia. Another one for Al's joke book.

This could be bad had the same thing happen Sat on the same size and color Mambo but it was the tail hook pulled out as I pulled the fish into the boat. Hope they see this and get it fixed as these are one of my go to plugs since Goose got me (hooked) on them last spring.

Had the same problem with his poppers, but it's not the hooks the split rings are bad, clammer had the same problem with the smacket poppers I think. Looks like they all buy there split rings at the same place.

Best thing to do is change the split rings before fishing the plugs

this is EXACTLY why i will never fish another gags plug! i have had this happen to more mambos than not. not worth the pain of losing fish. i confronted Al on this one time, and he told me it wasn't his problem, just buy another one to replace it.
