Add radar or update everything
Was going to get a trolling motor but they are like 3k then then battries
So I think Radar is the way to go I can add dome to my old garmin 740s for 1200 buck 6in screen
Or put 9in screen chartplotter With 4k radar for 2k -2500
Any brand suggestions

If you're running 1 screen, you're probably going to want something bigger 6" screen. I'd look at 2 screens or at least 9" that you can split into 3 boxes... fishfinder, radar, chart. Personally I'm a fan of simrad and there are some good deals right now on evo3.

I had garmin on the last boat and it worked great. Very nice for fog or night with a great layover image. Get the largest screen you can. Big boat with a small screen is no good. If only one screen get a 10-12
FWIW, when I need radar it is typically due to fog or running at night. In these cases I rarely have a need for a sounder.

Found a good deal on garmin 9in with 18in dome no transducer for 2k
All ready running a striker sidescan stand alone
The Simrad 9in with 4k radar and transducer was 600 more plus they need a heading box if you want chart overlay. More money
Might stay garmin

I had a buddy who swore by Garmin’s radar systems. 9” screen with radar for $2k is a pretty stellar deal...

So I decided to change out my bolsters and replace them with sea dek ones
Another fail trying to send the back now looked good on line but thought they were 4.5 inch wide nope 4 in and the way they are cut the actual part you lean on is only 3 inches,,, my old ones were 7in. Wide
Any one know a upholstery guy or girl
