TOG are not my thing
So left newport 830 with Ray's crabs he was kind enough to give me , have never targeted Tog in my boat. So I did what I saw Ray do when I go with him
I picked a spot checked the drift go back have my friend throw my expendable anchor set it , currents moving ... looks like its dragging Nope its gone not sure how he tied it on the cleat so now I use the good anchor get it to set tied correctly . We start fishing. Caught easily 25 tog most were 15in both limited out by 10 am , almost looked like I knew what I was doing

Had a friend do that in my skiff once a bunch of years ago.
Rig the anchor to breakaway in the fall for rock anchoring too....

Nice fish everyone. I've only been black fishing a few times and was out a week ago and pulled up a 10 pounder. I was sort of nonchalant about it and my friend was telling me how rare that was. Where do I go from here?
