Just normal work around the farm. Hauling wood, working in the garage.
Hope to get caught up and start spinning some AYC, next week.

My wife and I were fortunate enough to get our second Pfizer covid vaccine shot on Thursday. Now Sunday and we both feel better. We were both experiencing "flu like" symptoms until last evening. My older brother had his second shot and collapsed at dinner. He's sleeping now. Chills and fever. Anyway, all is well now. Stay safe!

My 20 year old got her shot Friday, nursing major, she felt like crap next day. Ok next day. She had Covid already and is immune compromised so she was nervous but good so far. The next one is the worrisome one from what we hear.

A couple of small-ish 6" needles float or slow sink, please! ... for our August mullet spot, Will trade for more BSB fillets once the season opens
Weekend was spent trying to train the mutt and working on a remodel of the basement play room/office/gym/guest bedroom.

what I heard is if you've already had covid then the first shot is the worst part. If you haven't had it, it's the second shot that is worse (like fishgolf). So hopefully she's had the bad part and that the second shot will be no more than a pinprick.

Paul, did she get the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine? Different reactions for each of those and most people only feel lousy after one dose and not both.

Was in to see my doctor last week, according to him....
From his Pfizer recipients about 5% had side-effects (chills, mild-fever, aches) no longer than 30 hours after receiving the shot.
His Moderna recipients, he said about 70% felt some type of symptom, again...for about 30 hours or so.
My 80+ yr olds, received first dose of Pfizer, mom had a sore arm for a day, that was it..., dad didn't even know he got pricked...felt nothing. Second shot coming end of month? We'll see how it goes.... I'm still on the fence on whether I want it or not?? Heard some nasty stories about people who've been vaccinated... thinking I may roll the dice?
