Where to buy Garmin?
Looking to upgrade GPS/FF. No need for radar interface. Looking for Garmin Echomap 94sv with the tranducer for side view. Seeing $1199. Anyone have a better price?
Have room for sponsorship decals......
Will be selling Raymarine A78 after I get a Garmin...

Hi Ross, I think Garmin regulates those prices , and most places are pretty close, like Clammer said, make sure you can get service ( I know most people shun them but West marine has always done me solid and will do a price match), although Garmin will send a tech right to your boat if you buy the extended warrenty and their customer relation people are real good to deal with if you have questions,I have that very unit, I even bought the panoptix as an add on ( a huge waste of money IMHO) the side scan is the cats meow.. I was able to find lost lobster pots with it, I can see chains on the channel markers, mooring blocks etc... there is a learning curve, but it's a real nice unit, I love, the touch screen, I was Leary of it because of the open boat, at night and eel slime, both the sales rep at West, and the people from Garman assure me it would NOT be a problem, they were correct.. best thing I ever did, real easy to mark way points even with fish guts on your hands..

Another way to save is buying gift cards at the supermarket.
I just bought an echomap 44cv from bass pro online, got the gift card from shaws and the rewards from that will end up being better than $100.

It went on sale today. $799 for the Echomap 94sv with the gt 54 transducer. Local Westmarine holding one with my name on it. I don't see the difference of what the gt56 tranducer clarity being worth $400....

Link? Site? I don't see it at Westmarine
I had seen that before it went out of stock at $1199. Not sure I could appreciate the difference and the 54 is going to give me the ultra side scan.
