For this holiday season I have collaborated with David Riina a Cape Artist to build 18 inch cherry boards. I am offering them with Davids prints of Striper, BFT, Bonito, Albie, and Brook Trout. Email me at christopherlgroves@gmail.xxx to get pricing and availability

I was under the impression that the images were inset layered with resin or epoxy for a flush finish?

The artwork are high quality prints from David's art quality Epson printer. I used my Shaper (handheld CNC router) to recess a cavity.25 inch deep and after attaching the print using 3M Super 77 spray adhesive and waiting for several hours for the adhesive to be completely dry, I poured Total boat Crafters ultra clear resin over to just above surface level. Let that cure for two days then ran it thru my drum sander with 150 grit. Then worked up hand sanding thru the grits to 800 then used by beall buffs with tripoli and white diamond to get it very clear. Then overcoated with several coats of Howards butcher block finish (wax and mineral oil) then buffed again
