it doesn,t open til November but only with dip nets .... dredges sometime in Dec ,
a few years ago I called DEM an asked how I could take them in NOV . he said dip net ....I said ok %^&*() an he told me that
I had/have to use the net from a boat because they don,t want them to be stepped on,
I had already gotten mine brfore I was told [by boat] I never went back
