Taking a health day today after a week of running around thinking we were fighting off allergies. Convinced we are fighting off something Dani picked up in hospital seeing to her mom, who was in overnight last week being treated for a lung virus. Got MIL home late on Good Friday and dealt with her detoxing from the drugs that killed the virus. Then Dani lost her voice, all while still healing from the eye surgery. Her vision has gone from nothing to looking through wax paper and is now like looking through two sandwich baggies. I have just been popping the claritin, but it isn't cutting whatever I was fighting off. Has to be more than just allergies. So a day, or a couple of staying in the house and maybe just some shop projects.
SIL is running her 10th Boston marathon on Monday, raising funds for Mass Eye and Ear again.
Our taxes are done. Just do my MIL's over the weekend and they will be simple.
Stay healthy all!

Big weekend in our household, we’re down in Baltimore watching my daughter receive her PhD. So celebrating with her and family down here.
Very proud of the girl, she crushed a 5 year program in under 4 years.

Tearing apart the front of moms house to replace the picture window with 2 smaller windows. Should be interesting.

I went on a day trip to Baltimore when my son was in cub scouts. Hell, it's close to 30 years ago. We started at the Inner harbor and the thing I remember most was the stench of the Domino sugar refinery. Lunch at Hard Rock, did the aquarium, and then they took us to a game at Camden Yards. Bleacher seats with the open street area behind the stadium. Bought some ribs from Boog Powell's BBQ, served by Boog himself. I've had better.
I wonder if the stadium and the area around it has gone to #^&#^&#^&#^& now?

Well today turned out better than I thought, started out quiet then I went out and took a tree down that was hanging over our new fence, My son came over with 1 of two grandkids, Valerie the B-day girl and Julie went and got Wes. My daughter and son-in-law came and we had a cookout and a fire, now I'm beat
