Report
Current update, Providence River is loaded with Peanut Bunker. I think the Bait is starting to flush out.
lots of Bait off first Beach no albies some bass Slurpin that was Wednesday. Friend managed to side snag a 34 inch bass on alibe gear he thought he had a 50 pounder
If you want Albie‘s try just outside New Bedford Harbor was loaded manage 2 today then the sun got high and they got tight lipped
This report is all for nothing .. because there’s a gale coming in unless you can get out there early Friday

It was on their FB page, and they have since loaded a new shore bonito leader. I posted the albie earlier in the derby forum so can't repost here... (unless I rename the file, hmmmm...)

desperate and in a fishing depression (that the wife's description )
I went out of New Bedford Yesterday AM Went 3 for 3 on Albies with many more shots
but again very tight lipped and on small translucent bait 2 inch Max
Once again the casting egg and fly saved the day one of those MATCH the HATCH moments 1 of the 3 took an albie snax rain and wind wasn't bad until 11am then it opened up and I headed back

Reminds me of catching (multiple times) bonefish on a wire leader and 8/0 hook beach sharking in the bahamas

Seems every day is Ground hog day. Plenty of Albies to cast at But none suffering from Nikos bite anything syndrome .
Even hit quicks hole and Robison less fish that way
But as luck would have it back inside the Hurricane Barrier a few fish busting against a trawler 1 cast I pick up an Albie Yeah, 500s yards from the boat ramp. To avoid the skunk
