Good thoughts for Paul Iemma today
He is scheduled for his heart valve surgery today. Wishing you nothing but the best today, my friend. Prayers for you, Jeanne, the doctors and nurses as you go forward.

I'm home. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. New valve is in and no complications. A little achy as they went up both femoral arteries
You guys are the best. Clambo and Clammer breakfast in a month or so.
Huddy cal you next week.

No. The procedure I had is called TAVR. They go into my heart with 2 catheters, through both femoral arteries'.
You end up with a very sore groin. You have to lay flat for 6 hours after the procedure and they put both legs in immobilizers.
All went well and I have to take it very slow for the first 7 days and then gradually build up.
Mike, give me a couple of week and we'll meet up for coffee and talk about when we start the season, etc.
