Was that Billy Ocean who sang that. Anyway I keep having these wierd dreams about some crazy fishing guru who has been taking me on all of these demented fishing adventures. Last night we were fishing for stripers from the top of a light house. He told me that we would be able to cast really far from up there with the right wind. He was right! I was casting like a mile. But we kept catching these really bizzare looking stripers. I wonder if reading the post about the mutated stripers had something to do with it. Anyway, I have been having like 6 fishing dreams a night. This happened to me around the same time last year (near the end of the season, when things were suppose to heat up for me, but didn't). Anybody else have any of these? Some of mine are pretty cool and I'm thinking of starting a Fish Dream Journal. I'm sure I am not the only one who has had the nightmare of your best set up getting pulled into the sauce by Mighty Moo. Am I?

P.S. My brother Rick is a sissy and has mastered the art of walking in high-healed shoes.

Mikey, I don't have dreams like yours, mine mostly involve me and Heidi Klum and Tyra Banks going out for a three hour tour ( a threee hour tourrrr) on the SS Jimbo and getting ship wrecked on a tropic desert isle with no lights, no phone, no motor car not a single luxury and there's really nothing for me to do but fish, repair the hut we share each night and watch as day-by-day Heidi and Tyra's only clothing, scant SI swimsuits, become more threadbare and worn out.

I think "issues" is just the thing regarding Rapmeister Michael. Playing the arm chair psychologist I think I speak for Sigmund Freud when I say, Michael, the symbolism of the size and shape of the lighthouse in your dreams represents something of yours which is, well, lacking or not big enough. It may be the metaphor for why your catch is often "bizarre" as you put it, and not something you would be anxious to mount and show off to your friends. And of course, the mockary of your brother is simply a textbook Psych 101 example of your crying out to express your own desires and inhibitions. I think we can help, but you must be honest. Have you ever paid for a "keeper", as you refer to them. Also, in any of your dreams do you ever see yourself fishing in black patent leather hip boots with stiletto heels and rhinestones?

This is a great attack on me.
You guys are super awesome Metrosexuals.
You'd think that you guys would have some pity on the Rickman, now that he's leaving his "marital house."

Gotta go to bed, less than 48 hrs. left in the house.
On a side note, got a call from the X today; she's in the middle of the fires in San Diego right now.
Scoreboard says, September, Rickman narrowly misses hurricane on the Outer Banks because he's getting divorced.
Second vacation a month later, Rickman narrowly misses wildfires in CA because he's getting divorced.
Good luck for me for the following reasons:
1. Left crazy X
2. Crazy X keeps getting caught in natural disasters
3. Moving keeps me away from crazy brother, who himself is a natural disaster.

Rick, keep the X out west unless you can parade her around New England occasionally to slowly spur global warming and extend my (and your) fishing season... Beyond that keep her blowing the Santa Anna winds dude...

Rick, I never, ever would have participated in this thread had I known your absence was due to your moving. That is by far one of the most god-awful, thankless things I have ever had to do. It's that sinister brother of yours that always tricks us into it.
BTW - I think maybe your X is in NJ now, as we have a flood watch in effect and some pretty nasty weather going on right now.

OK this is weird. I guess fishing frustrations manifest them selves in various ways. For some it's dreams, for others....well last night my harem and I did our annual punkin carvin. My kids went with the traditional triangle eyes and smiling mouth with missing teeth. My wife came up with something that's a cross between Scream and an expression I once saw on a woman in a "blue" movie (that's my interpretation and I'm stickin' with it) while my finished product has a face that's half Rick Bomba and half Notaro with a mouth like an agitated, feeding bass. What's it mean, Mikey? What's it mean?
