Best weekend of the fall for weather

and I can't take advantage. I'm dying and I'm not lying, this just blows. I hate it when a weekend like this comes and goes without being able to wet a line, so many possibilities and even being out fishless in the boat would have been nice. More stuff tomorrow and no fishing, I hate missing opportunities. Bruce did you go? I want to ask, but don't tell me.

I had to work all afternoon and night. To make it worse, on my way into work I drive by a well known striper haunt to see if anythings going on, and theres Fish_eye with the camera filming, beach and rocks lined up with surfcasters. I couldn't even stop to see what was happening. Work sucks!

Hit the Race this AM. Nuttin' could see them chasing bait way out and couldn't get to them. Now I'm shutting down til spring. Gawd, I hate closing. Gotta get heat in this old barn, maybe get another couple months out of it....

That is the reeking mess that is gone or buried now , thank God. I was introduced to it one moonless midnight standing on the bar at low tide. Every once in a while this stench wafted over me and I dam near chummed. I can't believe people were hacksawing away at that smelly thing. The smell seemed to stick to you like oil or something....Gag!

Aw man.
First of all, they're catching big Cows off the reefs of Conn last week.
AND my boat still IS ready to go.
But my 13 year old has football practice for one whole hour on Sat, after which I have to wait for AAA to tow back the car that my 17 year old TOTALLED on Thurs night
Then on Sun the 13 year old has a playoff game, and I have to drive the 17 year old to work cause he has no friggen car.
So - I didn't fish, I painted the house

I really am grumpy.
Just ask anybody.

Yeah John, him and his buddy are all right just shook up, thanks for asking. I hope this puts a little scare into them.It sure did me...nothing like getting that call from officer so & so saying he's at the hospital, been in an accident. They outta start that conversation with "Mr. Sirotnak, your son's o.k., but he's been in an accident".
It's pretty weird as I was driving down to get him, I started reflecting on my younger days - hopin there's no justice.
Oh no, he can't paint - doesn't pay enough
