Not Nomar though! I heard a rumor that nomar said he doesnt know where the talk of him wanting to go to the west coast came from. He supposedly said he wants to stay in Boston! Especially if they aquire A-Rod!!

The talk is Ramirez and Arroyo for A-Rod and his big contract!
But I will take it as he is a ball player! Great work ethic and works well with the Media!!
Although there was talk that they were gonna do a Nomar for Glaus trade? Guess they were thinking of putting Mueller at second.
Your right that we cant have both! The money would be unbelievable!
If we get A-Rod then trade Nomar for another starter!
Even if they just stay pat and get the closer from Oakland they are gonna be tough to beat barring injuries.

That would be great if they can get ARod for Manny and Arroyo.
Unlike you guys, I like Nomar and think he could move over to third. Then we would need a Left Fielder. I hope prices don't go up, I might think about buying some tickets this year.

Slip...I don't see Nomar agreeing to move over to Third Base, even though it is to better the team. These players today are stubborn, arrogant, spoiled brats. They want everything their way! However, as much as I am not a huge fan of Nomar, I would not mind seeing him at third. He is a great ballplayer who needs to address his attitude and his commitment not only to the team but to winning! |

I think players will be eager to come to boston knowing their Pitching rotation is Pedro, Schilling, Lowe, Wakefield .... The pain of game seven is finally starting to ease.

i like theo alot. last year he makes a couple of decent moves and it was like someone this year said... OK go get what you want. the kid has pulled off some moves like the red sox have never seen.
buy the pennant....heck the yankees have been doing that for years
all i can say is it is about time..just watch out for those $75.00 bleacher seats  |

good moves the Sox are making. I agree with the discussion on moving Nomah or A-rod around the bases a little. If, that is, they have them around to do so.

We can't have both Arod & Nomar. Only reason to get A Rod is to move Manny and if you get ARod you need to move Nomar - its not pretty, just the way it is...

The Red Sox win the World Championship for the first time in 86 years.....that is what the headlines will read next October!!!! The Red Sox brass is not messing around and you know what else?????? They are not finished yet!!!! I can hear the Yankee fans knees knocking right now!!!! Next is to get rid of Nomar and Manny and add A-Rod to the team, and forget about it Yankee fans......it will be wait till next year for you for quite a few years to come!!! I feel like it is Christmas morning and I found Curt Schilling under the tree. Schilling announced to ESPN early this evening that he was going to wave the no-trade clause and accept the trade to the Red Sox! Oh Happy Day!!!
