Rod Advice

Hi Guys,

I have a friend that's retiring on christmas and My brother and I would like to get him a new rod. Had I thought of it earlier I might have gone the custom route but time is an issue. He's a boat fisherman. What rod would you want or where would you shop that's open?

TIA

Rod advice

I was at CMS this morning picking up another blank and all the fixings. They had lots of new rods in the racks and ready to go. Those folks build nice rods.

By the way they open for business at noon.

Thanks Guys,

I went to CMS. First time and a very cool place. They're doing a little custom thing on the rod I selected and it should be done Saturday. Might have to stuff my own stocking then.

Thanks again for the help,

Bill

Smile

Went down to CMS this morning. Told the guy who I was and that I was there to pick up a rod. He goes into the back room and comes out with two rods and a note. The note from my brother:
"Merry christmas the one with your name is from me"

Great day!!!
