Report Saturday in Southern RI

In between the red weed, everyone fishing from Charlestown to Misquamicut were catching Stripers. Fish ranged from about 9" to 35", most fish were from 3:00AM to 9'ish.

Two flyroders made the trek to the end of Napatree Point and started fishing at daybreak. They reported being into schoolies for 2 solid hours.

Bluefish showed up at Weekapaug Point and at the mouth of the breachway from about 4:00PM until now. We also weighed in a fat 4.50 lb Tautog this afternoon.

Looks like things are picking up!!!

Thanks for the report Don. There has been a big increase in reported catches this past week.
