RI, NH, ME vacation recommendation
Looking to take the family away for a week this year. Hoping someone would have a recommendation for the following;
- acommodations right on lake/pond
- sandy swimming area for children
- dock with row boat (and possibility for your own boat)
- fishing a must, bass/pickerel preference
Been to the Cape too much and want to try somewhere else. Anyone who knows of an area, please pass it along. Txs.

How far are you willing to drive. I have been to Linclon Maine a bunch of times. I stay at some cabins called Nesting Loon Cabins on Caribou pond. The pond has largemouth Bass and white Perch probalyy Pickerl. I mostly river near by from my Canoe mostly for Smallmouths. It is about a 6 0r 7 hour drive from Springfield Mass Depending on the traffic. THomT
IN years past we have had some sixty fish days fishing for a few hours in the morning and then later in the evening after supper. That way the Kids could play on the small beach at the cabins.
