Mashpee, Canal and Wareham herring runs

Think they need closing too?

Seems like those runs are kind of skimpy to, not like 20 years ago

I don't know the anwser to your question but there some runs that had good numbers in them years ago and now not a single fish. Every year it cross's my mind to dump herring in the pond to kick start it up again, I wonder if this would work or maybe the pond no longer has what it needs to keep herring cycle. I wonder how many it would take or if they'd take at all.
