Herring tanks!

You guys should see the size of bassmasters' new herring tanks he has They are huge! He should never run out. I bet he can put a live bass in there to torment the bait too, the sadistic obsessed fisherman that he is. And when he's done for the season,he can use them for swimming pools. He's out of control.

20 times bigger than 20 gallons equals 400 gallons.gonna need a big truck to get that around.we have a old chemical tank that was 300 gallons an cut it in half but that was for transport an I got a pump that will blow bubbles up their coolies.I know people that keep em in small pools. With filtration of corse.there is a great website for pumps an other bait keepin stuff Aquticeco or somethin like that.U can really spend some $$$$ though.

I dunno, Slip. I don't see it. I know my PM is working cause I got a couple from JHABS, the other day. I sent a few to you and Tatoo but haven't heard back. Maybe I have to send JohnR my dues? Yeah, Ragfly and I will be at the show on Sat, bright and early. Don't want to miss Dave's blabathon. We'll do anything to get out of Maine for a day.

Dave... have you seen the new 1000 and 1,500 gallon plastic holding (septic) tanks? some of them have a pump built right in.
lets see... take the bed off the truck, build a flatbed, mount the tank......

Red face

I was only chittin' around CS... and if Dave spent money on a holdin tank, he'd better use it for what it was intended!

Gonna be tough to come by herrin on the Cape, I ain't fished 'em in years... Brewster, I heard, is going to be manned 24-7, that's got to cost some serious jing! Harwich is gonna have the gate, no herring for nobody.. Not a bad thing, hope they come back strong, but the guys they got to stop is the offshore herring catchers... got to figure a way to get the bunker back too....

Right again,Flap - it's the thin edge of the wedge, next thing ya know you'll find your self sittin' in a skiff and hanging around with boat people for chrissakes.

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.
