I highly recoment the Fisch midi Lathe,I bought it about 6 months ago and I love it, looked at the Jet also but the Fisch is a much heavier machine and is the same ,if not less expensive.

Tony,
What's the measurement between centers on that lathe?
The black shroud on the back of the tailstock as well as moving the tailstock inboard of the ends of the latheways make it appear to have shorter turning capacity.
That lathe does look nice and heavy that's for sure!

Is there a way to move the tailstock back to the end of the latheways?
