We fished the bank and other spots yesterday. We found some fish a few miles east of the bank in 220 of water. Also caught 2 haddock on jigs. Cod for the most part hit the white and pink teasers. Biggest cod of the day, about 15 lbs. was caught on half a teaser. Plenty of draggers working the productive spots.

OK Ron, I waiting for the report. I went by and saw you were out today !!!!!!!!!!!

Brought the boat home yesterday, and worked on her all day today. and glad to say I got about 80% of my tasks done.....

Especially the hardest ones..

Gonna fire up the engine later this week, pick up the repaired curtains, move a couple of snaps, touch up some bottom paint, and I'm good to go.

Got out to the bank, fished with Joe and Charlie.
We ;imited out. but all market size cod, no big ones, though joe reeled up a HUGE skate
Water was like glass all day.

Oh you are killing me, I wanted to get out there today myself but had a little bout with some bad fuel Saturday so even after changing filters and running it again I was still hesitant, and of course tomorrow will be blowing 40 knots At least the fish are around.

I was out on Saturday,

I would have been happy to catch a shark!

I would of been happy to catch a boot!

Anything would be better than my nothing!

But as they say a bad day fishing was still better than EVERYTHING! (Except a good day fishing)

I was out today for about 4 hours north of the H bouy.
I was marking fish but only managed one fish around 30".
The wind really started to kick up and it was a wet ride back to Green Harbor

tajon,
jig weight all depends on how fast the drift is, I try to go as light as possible, but shorts and keeper cod will still hit a 32oz jig.
It's all trial and error, if they're not hitting a jig try a clam or vise versa.

Stop teasin Ron and give us the full story. We want to know start to finish especially how good the fight was and how long it took you to bring him in. What were you using for tackle, rod/line? Feel free to exclude the location if you want but I'd love to know where you were as well.

Congratulations!
