RE:Tournement

Hi #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&, not as big as the cows you have been getting from what I hear!!! Don't remember the guys name but combined weight bass and blue fish was only 35lbs, the fishing local has been pretty slow, the fish are very finicky and not really on the feed bag, we were live lining mackeral and only caught 6 fish this weekend all under size, and 1 fish at 34 inches, that is after putting 30 hrs on the boat. Pretty sad too see. Hopefully it will pick up soon, I can't take this any more. Need some real arm hurting pulling fish!!!!! May have to wait for the Vineyard in September. Not many blue fish were caught either, I think they only got 8 fish weighed in in that catagory. Largest was 14 + Lbs.

RE:Tournement

As FW said, the fishing was pretty weak. Too bad the tourney was limited to just those waters, would have been nice to bring a two handed linesider in from somewhere else <img src="/Images/biggrin.gif"><!--e7-->....

RE:Tournement

Hey #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&, haven't fished at night yet this year, still having shoulder and neck trauma, so its very hard to throw the big rods, hopefully soon. I am ready to just go and do it and deal with the pain later, at least it would be a good pain. I do agree that the night fishing is better right now and will have to start hitting a few of the old night haunts soon as I could use a good rod bender right now. The water is still very cool here also and I think that the fish actually have more food than normal in this area, the largest fish I know of being caught in this area is from a friend of mine, it was 48 inches and 35 lbs, but most of the larger fish being caught are only in the 40 inch range. Hopefully with the tuna moving on to stellwagen bank the fish will start to move in and play.
