1 Pc Wooden Bombers
I made some wooden bomber type lures
will epoxy tomorrow
they should look alot better atleast the black and gold and olive and gold, the color jumps when epoxy is on them. there is some purple Hue in them to 
|

ever try using a SS, or brass lip, instead of the wood?
nothing wrong with the wood though, just thinking it could be tuned a little if it was metal....  if needed....

Well I test swam the wooden bombers and was very happy with how they swim. I know these will all catch fish for sure.
The action is very nice and on one with a smaller lip is has a tight wabble the others wiggle extremely well.

Bassmaster,
I like your work. Was thinking of trying something similar on my scroll saw a while back, but I talked myself out of it because I figured that the wooden lip would be a weak point in the lure. Have you had any problems with this?
Most of my favorite fish haunts are studded with rocks that can break even plastic lips.Do you reinforce that area with anything?
