I Feel Like Bashing Nomahhhhhh Again!
He has finally been exposed as the player that he is.....by the way....where is he? Is he hitting, is he fielding???? Is he even playing for that matter? He has faded into obscurity just as I thought that he would........Hall of Fame? Doubtful!

He's a good player and playing well(.311 in the last 10 games), but I like what we got for him our defense has been very solid since #5 went to the Cubs.
Mrs. Hamm's stats:

Last night:
Nomar Garciaparra scored the go-ahead run on Claudio Vargas's wild pitch in the 11th inning and Mark Grudzielanek added an RBI single to lead the Chicago Cubs to a 2-1 win over the Expos last night in Montreal.

Forget what he's done the last ten games...scoring on a wild pitch is almost meaningless. Check out how the Sox have won since he's been gone. That's what counts. It's a clear cut case of addition by subtraction. If you guys make some serious noise in the playoffs, that may have been the move of the year.

I think allot of Sox players were happy to see Nomar,a.k.a Baby-sulks-too much, go. Too many distractions and not enough production. I was really surprised to hear Remdog last night when he said that he thought Cabrera was a better defensive shortstop but Nomar had better range?? Every, once in a while Nomar would come up with a spectacular diving backhanded catch, put OCab, puts him to shame in the field. And now OCab is hitting as well.
I love the story about how Nomar asked Dusty B. to lie to the media for him and say that his Achillies was acting up again last week, when in reality it was the old wrist injury, the Chicago press went to town on both of them.

A chicago buddy of mine
Sent me a million "Thank You" emails when the Nomar trade was announced, I replied simply, "Give it time"
