Headcount for Saturday? - Striper Talk Striped Bass Fishing, Surfcasting, Boating

Since I guess it's been decided to go on with our plans for this weekend, I was hoping we could get a headcount for the 'que. Since I said I would bring the shrimp, it would help to know who plans on being at the bar-b-que on Saturday so I know how much to get. I'm sure the others bringing food would like to know as well.

So far, I know of myself, John R, Saltheart, fishpart, redcrbbr, specialist. I think Slip said he was participating, but wouldn't be at the 'que. Clamdigger was a maybe, GS is going to Maine, FW was on the Islands.

Mr Kav? Chris L? Smokey? Schoolie Monster? J Powers name was thrown around. Who Else?

Hope to see ya there, and I like Specialists idea for the moment of silence.

PS - John, I can also bring some garden tomatoes for the burgers.

Anyone interested or have any ideas of a pool we can put together and donate to the relief fund in NY? No obligation to anyone, just wondering if anyone has already donated (other than blood) or has ideas on doing so. I think Fleet & Citizens banks have donation centers located at their local branches...

I'll be there I'm mixing up a batch of venison burgers. Lots of blood drives going on I plan on giving blood either Friday or Saturday morning. If you can GIVE BLOOD please do so.

I cant I have to work this weekend . I also have to work during the rhody fling . Im going to try and swing that one though If I can find someone to work for me .

Don't count me in re the food you're planning. That's way too early for me to be eating.

Unfortunately, I think I'm coming down with a damn cold since this am. It never ends !

The wife, kid, the jeep and myself will be on the 9am ferry to Nantucket this saturday. I will definitely be unavailable, though I will be fishing in Massachusetts.

I'm really looking forward to getting away for a little while. Why does tomorrow at 4PM seem so darn far away right now?

Hope you guys have a great outing and get some good fish. I hope to make the October RI trip.

I can't be there for the get together but I will try to find someone to fish with at the canal later on that night. If anyone will be fishing the ditch I will look for you, let me know. Jim, you know my cell # , anyone else I can email it to you.

John they were saying on the radio today that the Salvation Army was looking for canned meats. Such as tuna , spam etc.

OX got it... the eastiest way is down 28 to Wareham, bear right at the split (there's a Texaco - I think - in the middle of the split) Stay on that road through a couple twists and turns and you'll come into a section of old style Main street shops. Near the end on the right, just after a gas station, you'll see M&D Bait and tackle. We'll park in back or way back next to the river and grille behind the shop...
