What a beautiful day!

I'm sitting here in my office thinking that we will not have very many more days like this before winter. Maybe a 1/2 day is in order.

and looking at the weather, it goes downhill over the next few days...

ugh.. i took friday off awhile ago.. i needed a full day of fishing with no nasty I.T. stuff to make me sad...

not that a little cold drizzle is gonna hurt.. the canal will still have me for a visitor.. unless my uncle gets his deer and is willing to hit westport in the boat instead.

and at least it looks ok again for sunday....

CURSE YOU WEATHER! CURSE YOU!

Had a school of False Albies behind my work during lunch. Threw a plug at them for awhile, but no luck. Those guys are fast. Any tricks on catching them ?

Upon further review... I was probably retrieving to fast. Casting at them wasn't working so I was throwing where I thought they'd be. I was using a white gibbs popper.

Quite a nice day indeed. I took the afternoon off and my brother and I headed out of Sandwich marina and worked our way along shore down to Barnstable Harbor and then back. Lots of blues and a couple of small keepers. Just a great afternoon soaking up the sun, shooting the breeze and catching a few fish!
