Was down the backside this week for a few days doing some fishing and I happened to bring along my light conventional 9' lami with the Abu Big Game! It was the first time this season I have used it as I usually fish my spinning gear! Well.....I learned what a fool I have been all season for not using it more!
I am still a relative newbie to fishing conventional gear.....I just started last season. You can't beat fishing plugs on a light conventional rod! My casting accuracy is much better (not that it was bad) I feel I have more control of a fish with the conventional rod and I also believe you can work a plug better with conventional gear.......does anyone agree or disagree with that?
I am going to start using conventional alot more! It is just alot more enjoyable than spinning!
