I was. I dont like keeping eels around. When I need them i can get them right up the street from me. When i have extra i get rid of them ASAP.

well i'm back from a short lived eeling session

I would still be out but i snapped my 1084 on a Ron Jeromy sized eel... ( i bet the missus picked that one out just for me)

This is the 3rd 1084 i have snapped in 2 years.
I wonder if the cold air makes graphite brittle? i wasnt doing anything i shouldnt have.

oh well.. seasons almost over and I have a quiver of rods at my disposal

I know I know... I chose to use the 1084 tonight because I was not needing a power cast... (drifting) And i was lobbing. I have no idea why it snaped
