I did it on a delta. Pretty much the same machine. Only problem you might have is with the lock lever on top of tailstock

no big deal to install and remove, with a little practice it's quick and easy.

Thats the problem I ran into on the Jet.
Afterhours, anyway to leave the dup set up all the time and be able to turn from the front? Thats the part I had trouble with. Ended up just setting up the vega on the front of the Jet and use the Grizzly when I turn something by hand.

After listening, talking and consulting with mac, aftrehours, and jigman, as the tailstock lock on the back of the jet prevents the dup from goin on the back i will see if retapping, and placing the lock on the front will allow it. Thanks for all your help!
Now all i gotta do is convince Late Santa i was good enough this year to give me a vega

Jigman, i don't see how it can be left on front with toolrest. i guess i've swithed back and forth so often that's it's now no big deal. i think that JPI is on the right track for rear mounting.

Thanks for the input. Figured it would take some tinkering to mount it full time on the back. No biggie, I'll just continue using the grizzly when I want to turn something by hand and leave the Vega mounted on the Jet.
