pastel colors
Two Beachmaster syle swimmers and a big Captain Bill style popper. All about 7" long... No weights in these. Not sure about the no eyes thing yet... Also the lips on the swimmers. Currently have NJT #2 Lefty lips on. Thinking about switching to the # 2 Danny lip. Don't like the way they hang down below the body of the plug...
No weight in the popper at the moment. Thinking of trying a few more of them with avrying weight combinations.

Nice all the colors are great but that yellow or just plain white catch the best for me.Simplicity was what Danny P was all about an Bobby Metal Lip never varied from it thats why his plugs catch.I see people tryin to emulate them now.but u can't beat a beachmaster they are the best at half the cost... they have been an nice little thing for me over the yrs.

Is a big Lefty lip appropriate? or as a big Danny lip better on these style plugs?

Thanks guys. Little steps....
I'd be curious if anyone could give a thumbnail history of Pinchney and Beachmaster. I'd appreciate it.

I sat down an talked with bobby "metal Lip"(as he is registered here) one of the guys from beachmaster for a few hrs.Very cool..ALso A guy in my club was very good friends with danny.an he has alot of cool stuff like flap has in the gibbs collection.from what i can recollect from our conversation Danny was a nuts an bolts kinda guy.No fancy tools or methods a excellent craftsman could do all his work by eye.Didn't beleive in alot of fancy colors was very basic.Bobby worked for him an basically took over where Danny left off.u see alot of Patterns BeachMaster makes reflect his time spent with Danny.Though he spent more time on colors scemes. He also told me Musso worked with Danny for a stint an Musso was very particular bout his work very neat an paid more detail to paints. He said they where both excellent at what they do but different in there ways of gettin there. Its a shame he don't post any more.I would like to see a article in on the water bout him. He's a one story after another kinda guy.Metal lip that is.I find his stuff is heavier than most made to cast well an hold true in some stiff currents as one of his favorite spots required this type of action. He builds a top shelf plug an worth it when u can find em.usually he works on a particular pattern for the YR an spreads em out like johnny appleseed.3 yrs ago it was danny's last yr 3oz darter's this yr was needlefish.so when u see em grab em cause it may be a while before u see that pattern again.I do well with his atom series when the water is big an u need plug that will go the extra 20 ft to clear the bar an hold true its a dynamite plug. His darters are some deep divers.better for breachways an inlets when u wanna a plug that gets down.Ask flap about his Danny's...I remember bass master cut one in half an flap was organizing a possey to string him up.
