In the past it was based on the ability to get to school after a snow storm. Now school closings are based on the Liability of getting to school after a snow storm.

12'' of wet, blue snow. Shoveled my wife's car out at 4 am, then took care of mine at 7. My shovel broke, prolly from overuse, I hope I can find one at HD on the way home.

Man, I am buff'n out down here twice a week shoveling the entire driveway, walkways and route to the garbage cans and bird feeders. My arms look like Charlie Atlas! The blue snow really sucked today, seemed like 20lbs every shovel full!

Why even try.........
