Question wire ?

Has any one used galvanized wire for ther plugs. I picked up some 18 guage at lowes today it was only a copple of dollars for 110' of it. or should i just stick with the stainless.

If you took the time to turn and finish a plug why in the world would you use galv. wire? Go for the best and not have to worry about when the gal. will rust out from wear.

when i first started i used that stuff. i caught tuns of fish on it.
it will rust after a bit.

live to fish. fish to live. rod tips high.

use it...when it rust's up..just through in a new wire.

BOAT fish do count.

Use it to start, next year you'll know why.
You can always rewire the keepahs.
I use tie wire for testing, a roll is real cheap and its handy for hanging sealed or painted bodies, etc. etc
I don't have to worry about catching fish in the winter cause I test in a pool.
