Found Some Fishies!!!!
Finally got out to do my 1st shore scouting trip of the season today. Caught 5 little striped ones and I do mean little. Averaged between 10 & 12 Inches but it sure felt good. Had quite a few more bumps "reflexes rusty" and then lost the tide. Was great to be on the water and rip some lips !!!! Its starting, so get ready.
BRING IT ON!!!!!

Blue Oyster, new boat is still being preped, its killing me, calling today to get things moving.
COngrats to all who are out there searching, I think it will go full blown in the next 2 weeks. Can't wait to be on the water every day for my sanity !!!!!

Hey FW, I was wondering about the new boat... I drove by the original "alternative" this morning.
I did a bit of maintenance on the boat and motor, started it up and ran it for a bit. I'm just about ready to rock 'n roll.
I can't believe its almost May.

I hear you Schoolie Monster, feels like I have been working on gear for a month now to get ready and I am still not finished WHEW, Should be getting the new boat by the middle of or the end of next week if all goes well. It's about freakin time, I am about to lose my mide. But we need to get it broken in and loaded for the season ASAP as we already have trips booked. I also need to start really hitting the cape for some early season stripers
Got lots to do just need the new boat to get here!!!! The cod fishing is picking up inshore also, so you may want to get that boat out there soon so you at least have something pulling the other way buddy. I see the docks are in at Wessagusette!!!

I thought it was nice out. Insulated waders and bright sun, got a little burned. My Father In Law didn't have waders so he stood thigh deep in jeans. He didn't care he was catching.

My son got his first and second off the rocks in RI today. I think he's hooked but his mind is on graduation and his friends this coming month though, as well it should be. He won't be going back with me tomorrow. We're already talking about and planning trips for June when the big girls are playing.

Tynan19, Your father In Law must have been out of his mind, BRRRR but I can agree that while catching, nothing else seems to matter. Glad you all had a good time. I think things here will really take off next week.

Well he was sick of running up casting and walking back. He lasted about 2 hrs and then got cold. Good thing I had extra clothes for the ride home though.
